Task 7 - Final Design of 3D Models

This is my final model for Unit 38. As shown above, is my three 2D flats put together and stood up via the use of masking tape. The final model is meant to be a Roman Aqueduct with a large wall in the background showing the aqueduct to be within the confines of a walled Roman City. The floor is made to look like a overgrown pathway, with the two larger 2D flats made to look like an aqueduct with a large wall behind it.  The materials/textures used were tissue paper, cardboard, chalk and paint. They were all selected in order to give the 3D model the highest level of detail possible in order to improve the models aesthetic quality. The base of the model is designed to look like a grassy pathway, while the larger 2D flats are designed to look like an aqueduct in front of a large city wall, with water at its base.
